Description

RadHealth+ is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lubbock, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type: Travel

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Two or more years of PCU, Intermediate Care, or Stepdown experience preferred.
  • Level II Trauma Center experience required.
  • Epic charting experience preferred; experience with other electronic health record systems is accepted.
  • Experience managing a typical patient ratio of 1:4.
  • Strong cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Experience with cardiac drips, post-cath lab procedural care, and tracheostomy/ventilator management.
  • Willingness to float between units as required.
  • Previous travel nursing experience is not required.

Required Certifications

  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
  • BLS – Basic Life Support
  • NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale
