  • Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Hours per Week: 36

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 - $2,160

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Floating: May float to telemetry or med-surg areas when needed
  • Orientation: 12 hours

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Washington or a compact license in hand at submission
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care nursing experience
  • Strong experience managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips is required
  • Experience with Epic charting required
  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity acute care setting
  • Comfort with a 4-5 patient ratio and rapid changes in patient condition
  • Must be willing to commit to holiday coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, and stepdown needs
  • Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
  • Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips per protocol
  • Support patients with CHF, atrial fibrillation with RVR, chest pain rule-out MI, post-cardiac cath, and similar diagnoses
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and timely interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary partners
  • Maintain accurate Epic documentation and follow unit-based clinical standards
  • Float as assigned and provide flexible support across comparable care areas
