Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license required at time of submission if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU, stepdown, or progressive care nursing experience required
• Cardiac drip titration and management experience is a hard requirement
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Experience with telemetry and Epic charting strongly preferred
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity setting
• Comfort working a flexible schedule, including every other weekend and selected holidays
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU/stepdown patients with complex cardiac needs
• Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips per unit standards
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to rhythm changes and patient status updates
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Float to other appropriate units when needed based on staffing needs
• Support a patient-centered environment with professionalism, flexibility, and strong clinical judgment
