### Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit Team! **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - 24-bed Progressive Care Unit on Floor 2 North. - Focus on Tele monitoring and post-op monitoring. - EMR system: Meditech / CPN. - **Staffing Details:** - Day Shift: Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs, 2-3 PCTs. - Night Shift: Charge Nurse, 4-5 RNs, 2 PCTs. - Patient Ratios: 5:1. - **Hiring Profile:** - **Must-Have Skills:** - Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience. - BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required. - **Preferred Skills:** - Cardiac experience. - Prior Meditech experience. - **Typical Procedures:** - Post-op recovery for surgical patients and cath lab procedures. - Care for post-op orthopedic patients (spine, joint). - **Ideal Candidate:** - Friendly and outgoing personality. - Teamwork-oriented and open to collaboration. - **Unit Highlights:** - Brand new state-of-the-art facility. - ADA/Bari rooms with in-room Hoyer lifts (x2). - Strong emphasis on teamwork and positive unit culture. - Diverse patient population including elective ortho, spine, GYN surgeries, and various cardiac procedures. - Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted three weeks in advance, allowing for flexibility.
