  • Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020-$2,130
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or equivalent based on staffing needs
  • Floating: May float to Med Surg, ICU for border patients, and ED for holds

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hospital nursing experience required
  • 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down experience strongly preferred
  • Active compact RN license at time of submission
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
  • Critical drip experience required
  • Self-directed, confident, and positive team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Professional presentation and dependable work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with varying acuity
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Administer and manage critical drips safely and accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support care plans
  • Assess, document, and communicate patient status clearly and efficiently
  • Support patient care across the PCU while assisting with floating assignments as needed
  • Maintain a professional, team-focused approach during busy shifts
  • Deliver compassionate care with attention to safety, quality, and patient comfort
