Job Description:
Unit: StepdownFloating is requiredPreference will be given to candidates with both ICU and PCU experience. A minimum of 2 years critical care experience is required.Top Diagnosis/Procedures: surgical of all types, medicals of all types, neuro patients at times.Common Equipment: bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCD's, bipaps, cpaps, optiflows, vapotherms, airvos.Vasoactive Drip Titration Required - neosynephrine, amiodarone, cardizem, among a few othersNurse Patient Ratio: 1:03 (not guaranteed)Line Management Skills: Required: IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management, Vascular Device Access/Care, Dialysis Fistula Care/Management, A-Line Management Preferred: CVPCardiac Skills: Preferred: Obtain 12 Lead EKG, Sheath Removal, Cardioversion/DefibrillationAirway: Required: CPAP/BiPAP, Trach CareOrtho/MS/Onc: Required: Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac
