Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring 2+ years of PCU experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
  • Patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
  • Floating required, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license with address matching driver's license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Degree accreditation must be verifiable on profile, or candidate must have 5 years of acute care experience
  • Documentation required for consideration: Social Security card, driver's license, and COVID/Flu vaccination records

Additional Information

  • Travelers are expected to integrate as core staff and function as part of the unit culture
  • Orientation begins on a Friday, with remote orientation completed prior to an in-person badge/ID appointment at the facility
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as RTO will not be approved after submission or offer
  • No block scheduling requests accepted
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate, with strict verification of residency
  • Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area during the assignment
  • Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date, with no exceptions for pending documentation
