GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado.
Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in Aurora, CO, where you will be part of a fast-paced, high-acuity environment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). We are looking for dedicated RNs with a passion for patient care and a commitment to excellence.
Position / Specialty: PCU RN
Shift: 3x12s ROTATING - 0700-1900, 1900-0700
Days of the week: Various days of the week
Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met.
Weekend Requirements: Yes, per unit needs
Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4 on days and nights; ratios may flex based on staffing and unit needs.
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, CO RN / COMPACT RN LICENSE
On-call Requirement: No
Floating Requirement: Yes, floating as required and may float to sister facilities based on facility needs.
Total Staffed Beds: 36
Charting: EPIC
Unit Information: The Medical PCU is a 36-bed unit with diverse patient populations. Our team is engaged, team-oriented, and supportive. Special procedures include scopes, biopsies, and urgent dialysis (completed by the dialysis RN). Drips managed include insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nicardipine, heparin, lasix, and dobutamine.
