Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO! We are seeking dedicated RNs with experience in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide exceptional patient care. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in a Magnet and Teaching Hospital recognized for its commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, arrhythmias, ACS, heart valve disease, and more.
• Monitor and manage cardiac drips, EKG interpretation, and telemetry.
• Perform special procedures including cardiac catheterization, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU or telemetry nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Ability to float within the service line as needed.
• Must pass the Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Local candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
• Up to 2 requests for time off allowed (maximum 40 hours) during the contract.

Special Equipment: Experience with LVADs is preferred.
