GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN Float PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Fort Myers, Florida.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down in Fort Myers, FL. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued and your contributions recognized.
You will be working on a Med Surg & PCU unit with a home base on a 36-bed MS TELE Floor. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5 to 6:1, ensuring that you can provide high-quality care to your patients. To qualify, you must have 2 years of PCU experience mixed with Med Surg/Tele experience, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Experience with EMR systems, particularly Epic, is highly preferred.
Travelers are welcomed into the units and are expected to function as core staff. Please note that floating is required, including to other campuses, Med Surg units, PCU, and ED Hold. All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, as the facility will not approve RTO after submission. A hard document deadline is enforced the Monday prior to the start date, with no exceptions for pending documents.
