  • Schedule: 36 hours per week; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Experience with Epic charting required
  • Strong PCU, stepdown, telemetry, or progressive care experience preferred
  • Ability to float within the organization as needed
  • Comfort working with adult transplant, hepatology, and mixed-acuity patients
  • Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult PCU patients with complex medical and surgical needs
  • Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and ports as indicated
  • Administer IV insulin protocols and support advanced cardiopulmonary monitoring
  • Assist with care for kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients, including recovery and complication monitoring
  • Support procedures and care needs such as kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis
  • Collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
  • Float to other units within the organization based on patient care needs
