# Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel RN in the Clinical Decision Unit! ## Job Description - **Position Title:** BACKFILL - TRAVEL - RN - D2 - PCU - CLINICAL DECISION UNIT - **Shift:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - **Location:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - **Floor:** 2nd floor (D2) ### Unit Highlights: - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 to 1:6, stretching dependent on level of care - **Unit Type:** Inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care - **Patient Focus:** Medical surgical and/or step-down patients, short stay (<24 hr LOS), quick turnover - **Equipment:** Telemetry (all patients hardwired to bedside monitor) - **EMR System:** Cerner ### Ideal Candidate Profile: - **Must Have:** - Telemetry competency - Progressive Care experience - **Preferred:** - Recent progressive care experience ### Personality Traits: - Positive attitude - Patient experience focused - Kind and compassionate - Team player who works well with others ### Required Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) ### Additional Information: - **Floating Areas:** Travelers may be required to float to other units if needed. - **Dress Code:** Navy and/or white top, navy bottom, all white footwear. - **Weekend Requirements:** Every other weekend required; no call required. ### Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
