The MS/PCU RN position in Birmingham, AL lets you care for patients needing medical-surgical and progressive care at the facility. You will monitor patient conditions, provide stepdown care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions and recovery. Required qualifications include a current RN license in Alabama, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience in medical-surgical or progressive care nursing is preferred, including stepdown and long-term ventilator weaning.
