**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel RN in the PCU Staffing Pool!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 20 - **Staffing Structure:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs, 2 CNAs - **Patient Ratios:** 1:5 to 1:6, stretch dependent on level of care - **Unit Type:** Inpatient overflow unit with mixed level of care (medical-surgical and step-down patients) - **Patient Focus:** Short stay (<24 hr LOS) patients with quick turnover - **Equipment:** Telemetry; patients hardwired to bedside monitors if indicated - **EMR System:** Cerner - **Candidate Qualifications:** - **Must Have:** - Telemetry competency - Progressive care experience - **Preferred:** - Recent experience in progressive care - **Typical Procedures:** - Varied based on patient needs, focusing on telemetry and progressive care management - **Ideal Personality Fit:** - Positive attitude - Patient experience focused - Kind and compassionate demeanor - Team player who collaborates well with others - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - **Additional Information:** - **Floating Requirements:** Flexibility to float to other units as needed - **Dress Code:** - Navy and/or white top - Navy bottoms - All white footwear - **Weekend and On-Call Requirements:** - Every other weekend required - No on-call shifts - **Experience Requirement:** - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience --- **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
