**Join Our Dynamic PCU Team as a Travel RN!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - 10 Bed ICU/PCU Overflow - Patient Ratios: 2:1 ICU, 4-5:1 PCU - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RNs - Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 Staff RNs - No unit secretaries or PCTs available - **Essential Equipment:** - Lift equipment, Targeted Temperature Management (TTM), ventilators, IV pumps - **Documentation System:** - Cerner - **Scheduling Requirements:** - 12-hour shifts - Every other weekend requirement - Holiday support - **Floating Policy:** - Yes, travelers will be required to float - **Patient Experience Requirements:** - Bedside shift report is mandatory - Relief charge nurse performs nurse leader rounding - **Required Skills:** - Medical ICU experience in a large facility - Comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management - Critical thinking, flexibility, and effective teamwork - **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Ventilator management - Critical care pharmacology (IV sedation, paralytics, vasopressors) - Advanced hemodynamic monitoring - Central line management - **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Assist providers with bedside procedures (e.g., chest tube insertion, intubations) - **Certifications Required:** - BLS, ACLS - **Dress Code:** - Navy Blue or White Scrubs - **Additional Information:** - Engage with experienced staff - Access to the latest equipment and technologies **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
