**Join Our Dynamic Progressive Care Unit!** **Job Description:** - **Unit Overview:** - Location: K7 Progressive Care Unit - Number of Beds: 44 - Total Staff: 95 - Patient Ratios: 4/1 at grid, 5/1 stretched - **Staffing Structure:** - **Day Shift:** - 2 CNC/Charge Nurses - 11 Registered Nurses (RNs) - 4 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) - 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - **Night Shift:** - 2 CNC/Charge Nurses - 11 Registered Nurses (RNs) - 4 Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) - 1 Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - **Essential Equipment:** - IV pumps - Skylift - PCA pump - Chest tubes - Trach care - Patient lifts - **Technology:** - Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner - **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - **Required Skills:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) - Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care - **Preferred Skills:** - Additional Neuro and Trauma Care experience is a plus - **Common Procedures:** - Neuro and spinal checks - C-Collar placements, TLSO braces - Chest tube insertions, PCA pumps, IV infusions - Lumbar drains - Feeding tube placements - Blood transfusions - **Personality Traits:** - Team player - Patient-focused - **Work Schedule:** - Every other weekend commitment - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Navy blue **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
