Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a hospitalist/general medicine PCU unit with current 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios
• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with unit protocols and patient acuity needs
• Float as needed to other PCU units and potentially Med/Surg floors
• Meet weekend requirements, which may include every-other-weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Work at least 1 holiday per 13-week assignment; 2 holidays required during winter holiday periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas/Christmas Eve, NYE/New Year's)
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for all documentation and patient management

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required (must be valid for the state of Virginia)
• EPIC experience required
• PCU or Stepdown nursing experience
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (based on address on Driver's License) to be eligible; candidates within 50–99.9 miles may be considered for one 13-week assignment with no eligibility to extend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or intermediate care setting
• Comfort with floating to Med/Surg units as needed
• Experience working in a high-acuity hospitalist or general medicine environment
