Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbia, South Carolina.

RN – IMC/IICU (Intermediate Intensive Care)
- Experience: 2 years RN experience, previous ICU/IICU critical care experience with 1:3 ratios, and at least 1 completed travel assignment. First-time travelers accepted with 3 years of specialty experience and critical care experience.
- Schedule: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period. Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
- License/Certifications: Active SC or multistate RN license required (pending licenses not accepted); ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
- Epic: Minimum 1 year required.
- Patient Population: Adult trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology patients requiring monitoring/interventions every 1–2 hours; direct admissions, ICU transfers, and Rapid Response escalations.
- Required Skills: Cardiac/telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, emergency response, titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips, and ventilator experience. PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown experience may be considered based on acuity.
- Floating: Required to qualified units or campuses based on documented competencies.
- RTO/Scheduling: All requests must be submitted upfront; approval is at the facility’s discretion at booking.
- Locals: Accepted; radius rules apply per submittal instructions.
- Equipment: Hercules repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps.
