RN - PCU | Location: High Point, NC

Assignment Overview

Join a dynamic team in a professional care setting as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves continuous monitoring and support of patients with cardiac and respiratory needs. Ideal candidates will have experience in cardiac telemetry or PCU settings and a focus on teamwork and patient care.

Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Teaching Hospital
  • Location: High Point, NC
  • Shift Details: 3x12 Nights
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
  • Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

  • Monitor cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic status
  • Administer and titrate cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips
  • Provide care for post-operative cardiac and respiratory failure patients
  • Interpret cardiac strips and manage arterial lines

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1 year of Cardiac Telemetry or PCU experience
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Skills in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac strip interpretation, and non-invasive ventilator care
