Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse – PCU
Winston-Salem, North Carolina

  • Start: October 26, 2026
  • Contract: 13 weeks; 13–26 weeks may be available
  • Shift: Nights, 3 × 12 hours (6:45 p.m.–7:15 a.m.); 36 hours may be offered
  • Experience: At least 2 years, including recent experience with 1:6 ratios; first-time travelers accepted
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
  • Care setting: High-acuity medical-surgical/telemetry with occasional PCU patients. Common cases include COPD, pneumonia, respiratory distress, PE, and COVID-19. Ventilator experience is preferred but not required; the unit provides support and training.
  • Requirements: Telemetry and dysrhythmia skills, IV starts, and CPAP/BiPAP experience. Must pass an EKG test before starting.
  • Schedule expectations: Every other weekend, at least four weekend shifts in six weeks; floating to similar units is required. Up to seven days of requested time off may be allowed with an AYA auto offer. No additional time off after booking.
