Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring PCU experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 16-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Day and night shifts staffed with 1 charge RN, 4 RNs, and 2 PCTs
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Collaborative, team-based equipment and care approach
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Scheduled for night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required to other PCUs and telemetry units
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required for PCU
• 1 year of recent PCU experience required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
