Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong cardiac, telemetry, and progressive care nursing skills preferred
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or experience preferred
• Team-oriented attitude with a positive, flexible approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage cardiac drips, and support patients with cardiac catheters
• Perform chest tube management, wound care, and TPN/lipid administration as needed
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, nursing assistants, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
• Support a patient-centered, efficient, and positive care environment
