Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a Progressive Care Unit with a large cardiac population, including patients on telemetry and step-down level care
  • Maintain a 1:5 patient ratio during night shift assignments
  • Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed, demonstrating flexibility across varied clinical settings
  • Utilize Meditech EMR to document and manage patient care
  • Care for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including oncology patients as applicable
  • Collaborate with RN and CNA team members to deliver compassionate, high-quality care

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR
  • Chemo Certification (candidates with this credential may be eligible for scheduling on the Oncology unit)
  • Experience caring for cardiac and telemetry patient populations
