GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cartersville, Georgia.
Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Registered Nurse in Cartersville, GA! This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated healthcare professionals looking to make a difference in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting. We are committed to providing excellent patient care and fostering a supportive environment for our nursing staff.
Schedule: Must be flexible to facility scheduling - No Schedule Requests can be requested/approved/accommodated. Weekend shifts are required every other week.
Call: None required.
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed.
Minimum Experience: 1 year - Unit accepts first-time travelers.
AYA Offer: Once the candidate has signed and confirmation sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. The AYA offer is only available if the clinical pass is within RTO guidelines and meets specific facility requirements.
RTO: Maximum 7 days.
Holidays: If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.
Compliance: Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the pushback is 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Locals accepted at the same rate. Please note: the number of Non-Billable Orientation Hours is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).
