PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

Location: Lone Tree, CO

Unit: 5th Floor Medical (61115)
Number of Beds: 45
Number of Staff: 90

Shift Information

• Day Shift: 1 charge RN, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs
• Night Shift: 1 charge RN, 9-10 RNs, 4-5 MSTs

Patient Care

Patient Ratios: 4-5 days/nights

Equipment: Lifts, dynamap, cardiac monitoring equipment

EMR: Meditech

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
• BLS and ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cardiac and ICU settings
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• NIH certification

Typical Procedures Performed

• Administration of cardiac drips and management of cardiac catheters
• Chest tube management
• Wound care
• Management of TPN/lipids
