Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in PCU, telemetry, step-down, or a similar acute care nursing setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong time management, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
• Experience with cardiac monitors, telemetry, IV pumps, PCA, epidurals, high-flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, and feeding tubes preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts and floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to PCU patients with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor telemetry and cardiac status, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support advanced patient care equipment
• Perform and assist with feeding tube placement and related clinical care tasks
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document nursing care accurately in EPIC and follow unit policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach while supporting weekend coverage requirements
