Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage as needed. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5.

• Work in a specialized cardiac stepdown unit with a significant cardiovascular patient population
• 55-bed progressive care unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Flexible scheduling with options for 36 or 48-hour work weeks
• Gain experience with complex cardiac patients including post-MI, post-cardiac catheterization, and cardiac surgery patients
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation and overtime opportunities

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of progressive care or cardiac stepdown experience preferred (1+ years considered)
• Cardiovascular experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale and CPI preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drips, post-cardiac procedures, and central line management
• First-time travelers accepted; must reside outside 50-mile radius
• Willingness to float to like units as needed based on facility requirements
