Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU Burn Unit

Location

Nashville, TN

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: ICU patients 2:1; Med/surg and PCU patients 4:1
• Unit Staffing Description: Charge RN, RNs, PCT
• Type of Equipment: Ventilators, specialty beds, occasionally CRRT
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule (schedules are 4 weeks)
• Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
• Patient Experience Requirements: Med/surg experience

Certifications Required

• BLS
• ACLS

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy scrubs

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• General Qualifications: Experience in a critical care setting is essential.
• Advanced Skills: Candidates should exhibit proficiency in advanced nursing skills relevant to the burn unit.
• Procedures Performed: Applicants must be familiar with the procedures typically performed in a burn care setting.
