Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting
  • Monitor and assess patients requiring an intermediate level of care between ICU and general medical-surgical floors
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
  • Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (Kentucky license or compact eligibility required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a step-down or intermediate care setting
  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
