Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or ICU experience required
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced progressive care and acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to progressive care patients
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support a typical 4:1 patient ratio in a team-oriented hospital setting
• Perform hourly safety rounding and bedside shift reports
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Float as needed within the unit or related areas
