Travel PCU Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit in Arlington, TX

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent acute care, progressive care, telemetry, or step-down nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and post-cath recovery knowledge preferred
• Experience with cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and hemodynamic changes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to progressive care patients with cardiac and vascular conditions
• Monitor patients with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Perform and interpret EKGs and recognize rhythm changes promptly
• Assist with pacemaker interrogation, arterial sheath removal, and sheath monitoring
• Maintain and titrate cardiac drips per protocol and provider orders
• Complete nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring according to unit standards
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Follow unit guidelines, documentation standards, and professional dress code expectations
