Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Beaver Dam, WI. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients in a step-down unit. You will work 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, with a commitment to providing support during weekends and holidays as needed. Your expertise in managing patients transitioning from intensive care will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of RN experience in med/surg and PCU required.
• Occasional ICU patients may be seen.
• If a first-time traveler, must have at least 3 years of experience in a hybrid unit.
• Current RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only).
• Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start.
