GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.
Join a leading healthcare provider as a PCU Registered Nurse in Beaver Dam, WI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Step Down setting, providing essential care to patients requiring close monitoring and support.
As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will work night shifts, specifically 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. This role includes a weekend rotation and every other holiday, with standby call as needed. We are open to considering a 4x12 schedule if you are available to work more weekends.
To qualify for this position, you must have at least 2 years of RN experience in both med/surg and PCU. Candidates with a hybrid unit background should have a minimum of 3 years of experience if this is your first travel assignment. You will also be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to the start of your assignment.
Required certifications include a valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS (American Heart Association only). Occasionally, ICU patients may be seen, so adaptability and experience in critical care settings are essential.
