Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit role requiring 2 years of PCU experience and flexibility to float between campuses.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
• Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:5
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Nursing degree accreditation must be documented, or candidate must have 5 years of acute care experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license address must match the address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate fully into unit culture
• Orientation begins on a Friday with remote orientation, followed by an in-person badge/ID appointment
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility and may not own or cosign property within that radius
• All RTO requests must be submitted prior to start, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Full demographic information (address, email, DOB, SSN, RN license number) must be provided for consideration
• Candidates should be prepared to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from a distant home address
