RN – PACU / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit

Specialty: PACU / Post Care Unit
Shift: 8-hour Days, varied start 6:00–9:00 AM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | EOW | First to Float
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Contract: 15 weeks

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, PALS & NIHSS required
• Valid RN license required
• Experience with Phase I & Phase II PACU required
• Must be comfortable floating between Inpatient & Outpatient
• First-time travelers may be considered

Schedule & Unit Details

• Varied 8-hour day shifts
• No call
• First to float
• Weekend requirement: EOW
• Confirm for Main PACU
• Cerner charting

Additional

• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
• BSN not required
• CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity direct employment restriction applies within the past year

Key Requirement: Strong Phase I & Phase II PACU experience with BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS.
