- Primary Patient Population: Adult Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU patients
- Number of Beds: 18
Shift Details
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Shift Type: Nights
- Shifts Available: 0630p - 7:00a
- Every Other Weekend: Required
- Self-Scheduling: Available, based on unit needs
Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will:
- Provide compassionate patient care while managing a variety of medical conditions.
- Conduct hourly rounding and bedside shift reporting to enhance patient experience.
- Titrate drips such as Insulin and Cardizem as needed.
- Administer chemotherapy and manage associated side effects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing assistants, charge nurses, case managers, and social workers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field, with a preference for oncology experience.
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Chemotherapy Certification: Preferred, not required
- Charge Nurse Experience: Not required
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted

- Respiratory Equipment: High-flow systems available
