Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN for 12-hour night shifts, requiring 2 years of PCU experience and FL/Compact RN licensure.

Details

• PCU and ED Hold unit with Adult and Geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1 depending on patient mix
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• EMR: Epic
• Floating required, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• Degree accreditation documentation required on profile, or 5 years of experience in lieu of accreditation
• Recent Nursys report required
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing

Additional Information

• Galaxy Blue & White scrubs required
• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and are welcomed into unit culture
• Travelers will be prioritized for floating assignments, including to sister campuses
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All RTO must be submitted prior to consideration and will not be approved afterward
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start with no exceptions for pending documents
• First-time travelers may be considered
