Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PCU Float Registered Nurse in Leonardtown, MD. Key Responsibilities:

• Float between IMC and medical units, occasionally taking medicine/IMC level boarders in the ED and ICU as needed.
• Provide care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on telemetry and cardiac telemetry.
• Adhere to patient care protocols, ensuring safety and comfort for all patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IMC/PCU/MS Float Pool.
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Skills Required: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, ER Holding, Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as per hospital needs.

This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine. Please note that scrubs are not provided; color required is Caribbean Blue. Clinicians will report to the staffing office for float assignments.
