Key Responsibilities
The Paramedic will provide onsite
emergency medical and first-aid services, supporting the health and safety
of employees at the worksite. Responsibilities may include:
- Provide emergency medical assessment and treatment
- Respond to workplace medical emergencies and injuries
- Provide first aid and stabilization as needed
- Assess patients and determine appropriate level of care
- Perform BLS, ACLS and PALS interventions when appropriate
- Coordinate EMS activation and patient transport when necessary
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives
- Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities
- Follow applicable medical protocols, safety procedures and
client policies
- Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information
- Work collaboratively with onsite safety/medical personnel and
emergency responders
Required Experience & Certifications
Previous EHS Paramedic / Onsite Medical
/ First Aid experience is required or strongly preferred.

- Current NREMT Paramedic Certification
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Current ITLS or PHTLS
- ICS 100
- ICS 200
- ICS 700
- ICS 800
Highly Desired
- Nevada State Paramedic License
- CEVO (Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator)
- EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course)
- Previous EHS / Occupational Health / Onsite Medical
experience
- Experience providing medical support in an industrial or large
workplace environment
