Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with Level I trauma and prior travel experience for a 13-week assignment at a hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting within a Level I Trauma Center hospital
• Cares for pediatric and geriatric patient populations
• Uses Epic EMR
• Varied 12-hour shifts with a 36-hour guarantee
• Required to work every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (temporary license accepted if permanent license application is in process)
• Compact license not accepted
• Minimum 2 years critical care experience (ICU/ED) required
• Previous PACU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC)
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to specialty, required for consideration
• Two supervisory references with dates of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides holistic nursing care across the lifespan, from neonates to older adults
• Executes full Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinates care among disciplines and delegates activities to other care providers as appropriate
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions
• Candidates must list any prior work history with North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Hospital, or Blaze Health LLC on their resume
• Local candidates within a 35-mile radius are accepted at a reduced travel rate
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and may not be honored if submitted later
