Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an SSSU/PACU position requiring 2+ years of SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience and WA or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Covers Outpatient Services including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, Pre-operative Clinic, and conscious sedation for special procedures
  • Floating required across the entire Outpatient Services area
  • Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule
  • Shared on-call rotation for PACU required

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum of 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience required
  • Strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion required

Additional Information

  • Provide perioperative education and care with nursing assessment skills
  • Recognize post anesthesia and post-operative complications
