Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a same-day surgery program requiring BLS, ACLS, and recent Level I or comparable Level II trauma experience.

Details

  • Same day surgery program with pre and post-operative recovery care
  • 34-bed unit with 1:2 phase one recovery ratio
  • Services include gyn, ortho, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery
  • 40 hours per week with varying shifts (6a-4:30p, 7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p)
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No weekend requirements

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • PALS certification preferred
  • Recent Level I or comparable Level II trauma experience within the last 2 years

Additional Information

  • Provide pre and post-operative recovery care to a varied surgical patient population
  • Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
