Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients during a designated timeframe. The RN provides care through the therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and collaboration with other healthcare team members. The RN is expected to perform duties according to established care standards and the core values of the nursing division, reporting to the assigned Unit Director.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing and systematic assessment/data collection focusing on the physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status of patients.
• Provide post-operative recovery care for patients undergoing orthopedic, neurosurgery, general, thoracic, podiatry, and GI procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform nursing duties according to established standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Completion of required health assessments and vaccinations.
• Background check and drug screening as mandated by the facility.
