Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Start time: 8:30 AM / 9:00 AM
• First-time travelers accepted

Specialty

• RN – PACU / Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
• Phase 1 & Phase 2 recovery
• 2:1 patient ratio

Required Certifications

• BLS — Required
• ACLS — Required
• PALS — Required
• CPAN or CCRN — Preferred

Required Experience

• 2+ years recovery/PACU or ICU experience
• Strong PACU/recovery experience
• Cerner / SurgiNet experience
• Must be able to:
  • Recover critical patients
  • Troubleshoot/manage vents
  • Interpret telemetry
  • Understand ABGs
  • Work with ICP monitors
  • Recover pediatric patients
  • Manage Phase 2 recovery and discharge

Required Documents

• Active nursing license — required for submission
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Updated resume showing 2+ years PACU/recovery or ICU experience
