RadHealth+ is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Windsor, Vermont.

Travel RN – PACU | Vermont

Setting: Same Day Surgery Center (PACU-focused with occasional OR support)
Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric
EMR: Cerner
Schedule: 32-hour guarantee + call hours

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of Same Day Surgery experience
• Phase I & Phase II PACU experience
• Rural outpatient OR experience
• Admitting and discharge experience
• Strong IV start skills
• Must be able to assist with OR preparation
• Cerner experience required
• Must take call
• Vermont RN License or Compact License
• BLS & ACLS required

Preferred

• ICU or PACU background
• Previous travel experience

Unit Highlights

• 8-bay unit with up to 17 patients/day
• 2 ORs and 1 procedure room
• Mostly outpatient surgical cases
• Ages 16+ patient population
• Hospital-provided scrubs

Important Notes

• Own vehicle required
• Local travelers within 50 miles not accepted
• No block scheduling or schedule accommodations
• Maximum 5 days RTO and must be submitted upfront
• Travelers must be available for holiday rotations if scheduled
• 8 hours non-billable orientation

Ideal Candidate: Experienced Same Day Surgery/PACU RN with strong assessment, IV, discharge planning, and patient education skills who is comfortable taking call and assisting in both PACU and OR settings.
