Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU/Recovery Room position requiring 5+ years of experience and call coverage.

Details

  • PACU/Recovery Room setting with 10 beds and 2:1 patient ratios
  • Patient population includes all ages, including pediatrics
  • Rotating weekday shifts starting between 6:30am and 10am based on surgery schedule
  • 36 weekly guaranteed hours
  • Call requirement of 5-6 shifts per month, covering weekdays 7p-7a and weekends 7am-7am
  • No floating required
  • Uses defibrillator, ultrasound for blocks, and Phillips monitors
  • Documents in Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
  • 5+ years of recent PACU experience required
  • Flexible, team-oriented personality fit

Additional Information

  • Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring for surgical patients of all ages
  • First day consists of orientation
  • Ceil blue scrubs provided
  • Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced bill rate
