Travel PACU RN needed in Everett, WA for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. Provide high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced surgical setting.

- Orientation: 30 hours
- Weekend Coverage: Limited, with possible 1 weekend shift per schedule period
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Compact license in hand at time of submission if applicable
- Strong PACU, pre-op, and post-op recovery experience preferred
- Experience with EPIC charting preferred
- Ability to float as needed
- Flexibility to work in a trauma and surgical recovery environment
- Prior charge nurse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality recovery care to post-operative patients across a variety of surgical specialties
- Monitor patients in the PACU and support safe transition from anesthesia recovery to discharge or inpatient care
- Assess pain, vital signs, airway status, sedation level, and overall patient stability
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions according to recovery protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on post-operative instructions and discharge readiness
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
- Support care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a busy surgical setting
- Maintain a calm, efficient workflow while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
