Travel PACU RN needed in Everett, WA for a 13-week assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. Provide high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Compact license in hand at time of submission if applicable
• Strong PACU, pre-op, and post-op recovery experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred
• Ability to float as needed
• Flexibility to work in a trauma and surgical recovery environment
• Prior charge nurse experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality recovery care to post-operative patients across a variety of surgical specialties
• Monitor patients in the PACU and support safe transition from anesthesia recovery to discharge or inpatient care
• Assess pain, vital signs, airway status, sedation level, and overall patient stability
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions according to recovery protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families on post-operative instructions and discharge readiness
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Support care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a busy surgical setting
• Maintain a calm, efficient workflow while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
