Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring 2 years of PACU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work in the PACU/PreOp unit of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, three days per week
• On-call responsibilities required one night per week and on weekends
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of patients
• Provides patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
• Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement efforts within a Practice Governance model
