Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a fast-paced recovery room requiring ACLS, PALS, and prior PACU experience.

Details

  • Fast-paced PACU/Recovery Room unit with 10 bays, averaging 20-30 patients per day Monday-Friday
  • Cares for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients, including add-ons
  • Shift hours are 10:00-20:30
  • Night call required one night per week Monday-Friday
  • One weekend call shift per month required

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of recovery room/PACU experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provide post-anesthesia recovery care to surgical patients
  • Surgical scrubs are worn in this unit
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule
  • Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager 45 days before assignment end date
