Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU/OR position requiring 5+ years of experience and proficiency with advanced surgical equipment in a hospital setting.

Details

  • Work in the Operating Room/PACU/SPD department on the 2nd floor
  • Unit includes 9 ORs in the main suite plus 1 OB OR on the OB floor
  • Patient population includes urology, orthopedic, gynecological, vascular, general surgery, ENT, and spine cases
  • Utilizes Stryker integrated suites, Mako robot for ortho cases, and 2 DaVinci robots for urology, general surgery, and gynecological procedures
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 40 weekly hours
  • No call requirements and no floating requirements
  • May receive after-hours phone calls for questions

Requirements

  • Active RN license (IN or compact) required
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required
  • Experience with OR equipment including capital purchases and usage of all OR equipment
  • Experience reporting on KPIs and quality initiative projects
  • Ability to multi-task quickly and adapt to continuous changes in daily schedule

Additional Information

  • Collaborate closely with surgeon and anesthesia partners in a team-oriented environment
  • Work well intra-departmentally with other unit managers
  • Ceil blue scrubs provided
  • Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced bill rate
